 上海临港地区位于上海东南角，地处长江口和杭州湾交汇处，距上海市中心75公里，北临浦东国际航空港，南接洋山国际枢纽港，拥有13公里长的海岸线，具备得天独厚的码头资源，是上海沿海大通道的重要节点城市和中国（上海）自由贸易试验区建设的直接腹地。“港为城用，城以港兴”是临港地区建设发展的基本思路。

 Located at the southeast corner of Shanghai, Shanghai Lingang area is located at the junction of Changjiang Estuary and Hangzhou Bay ,75 kilometers from the center of Shanghai ,75 kilometers north of Pudong International Airport and Yangshan International Hub Port in the south, with 13 kilometers of coastline and unique wharf resources. "Hong Kong for the city, the city to Hong Kong Xing" is the port area construction development basic idea.
